so I just got a new 27.5" monitor a resolution of 1920x1200, it works great and all, but i has an stuck pixel (green) on the lower middle part of the screen, I don't really notice it, until a get into dark backgrounds.

so my questions are, should i return it to new egg? do they give you a lot of troubles when returning items to them? and around how much do they charge you for they restocking policy?

thanks for any help

Did you recently get it? They are awesome about returns when something is defective. No restock if there's something wrong with it.

I don't think you'll have a problem doing an RMA on it.

Should be able to get an RMA from Newegg. If you go through the manufacturer, sometimes they don't swap you a new one if there is less than x number of dead/stuck pixels. If you got it Friday, I would get in touch with them this week about it.

Not if its a defect. Real easy process. I've never called them I've just gone into my account and done an RMA on the order that contained the bad item.

Hail to newegg. If you didn't have another monitor and really complained they will usually give you an advance RMA. I think I've had to do a credit card hold on a high value item, but even that's pretty cool of them. They ship you a new one and you use the box to ship them your broken one. Ta'da! Cool

If you're that bummed did you tell NewEgg that? That sucks! They probably could have made good on it and at least got you something comparable instead of the refund. Might not be the case on "sale" items or such though either..Sucks either way.
