 We've opened up our first BF2142 public server starting a new chapter here at -=CCC=-.
-=CCC=- Ranked Conquest Carnage 64.34.240.32
It's a 48 man server currently running conquest. We will add Titan mode once EA fixes the lag and the large amount of server crashes.
On a related note we are recruting for BF2142. If interested please stop by the recruitment forums to apply.

| EA/DICE Announces Battlefield 2142 |
|
A press release on EA's press site announces their next project, "Battlefield 2142".
From the announcement:
The year is 2142, and the dawn of a new Ice age has thrown the world into a panic. The math is
simple and brutal. The soil not covered by ice can only feed a fraction of the Earth's
population. Some will live, most will die. In Battlefield 2142, players will choose to fight
for one of two military superpowers in an epic battle for survival, the European Union
or the newly formed Pan Asian Coalition. Armed with a devastating arsenal of hi-tech assault rifles,
cloaking devices and sentry guns, players will also do battle using some of the most imposing
vehicles known to man. Massive battle Mechs wage fierce combat on the ground, while futuristic
aircraft rule the skies. When facing one of these new behemoths, players will need to use
their wits and an arsenal of new countermeasures like EMP grenades to level the playing field.

The login prompt that was appearing upon visits to our main page was only our Ventrilo host's web page acting up. I have disabled the Ventrilo Server Status block until they straighten it out on their end. Sorry for any concern this may have caused.
Thank you for the numerous messages about this.
UPDATE:This issue has been resolved already by our host, typefrag.com, and I've re-enabled the Ventrilo Status block on the right hand side.

The -=CCC=- BF2 servers are being changed a little bit, as you may have noticed. We have an order pending for a brand new 32-man server in Virginia to run vanilla Battlefield:2, and our existing Chicago 64-man server will be running BF2: Special Forces! Our Unranked Match/Practice/Custom server will still exist at the same address throughout these changes and beyond.
Chicago 64-player RANKED Special Forces Mod: 69.31.96.68
Virginia 32-player RANKED Battlefield2: 69.31.6.38
Chicago 64-player UNRANKED BF2 Custom Maps/Match/Practice: 205.218.65.236
I expect the server to be up and ready today, Thanksgiving Day! I didn't really expect a response from ecgnetwork.com today, but I guess they don't have the holidays off like most of us! Both of our RANKED servers are from them, and our previous BFV servers were also!
UPDATE: Our new 32-man vanilla server is UP! Make sure to add it to your favorites! 69.31.6.38

| Attention all admins: An updated version of the Remote Manager has been released. The only change affecting us in this release is the kick time being reduced from 10 to 1. Please visit Black Bag Ops and download the new Remote Manager asap. Just extract it to your current manager folder and overwrite any files already present.
